I'm changing this post since I have time to post "for real"

Its nice to be back in Oklahoma City. Tons upon Tons has happened since the last time I posted. Last time I was against the Colts, now that the Chiefs are gone, I'm all for them. Problem is I kinda think the Bears are cool.

Thats basically how it is in the football world right now. I'm currently downloading the game of the Colts-Pats.

Clubs are going great. Last night, my small group with "da boys" at Rockwell Villa went so well. I was planning on giving out warning upon timeouts, but the occasion never came. I was able to teach a lot of stuff, but they really got the main point. It was nice actually being able to spend time with them, and find out how things were going.

This morning I am working on coloring sheets...finding them for the curriculum. Speaking of which, my assignment is probably due for curriculum. Gotta work on that too.

Pray for my small group at Sooner Haven today. Its tough. But I have "plans". But really, unless God helps me, my "plans" aren't worth squat.

Pray for us as we have club at Wilson tonight. I like doing club there. Pray that kids would come.

Ben asked a question the other day: If you were stuck on a deserted island for one month, and you had basic necessities, Bible, and a way off at the end of a month, what would you take with you?

My 3 items: (you only get 3, btw)
1. My Piano
2. Suntan Lotion
3. Endless supply of lemonade

I could build like a cool shady hut to put my piano in, and that way I wouldn't get a bad sunburn on my back as I play music for hours. Its so nice to be able to practice with nobody but God hearing you. You can play forever...at least a long time.

Aaaahhh...bliss of playing piano.

There is a real, non copy cat post.

God Bless.

First post of the New Year!

Last time I posted was before Christmas?! A LOT has happened since the 23rd.

Hmmm. Christmas was good this year...as it is every year. Our whole family was here. We didn't go huge on the presents this year. We still had good presents though. I got what I wanted. Which wasn't much, but I still got it.

After Christmas we took a trip to Branson and stayed on the lake down there, and went to Silver Dollar City. If you ever go there, you MUST get an Apple Dumpling w/ ice cream. I ate 2 of them. Seriously, they are that good.

The rides were fine...as soon as it opened we went straight to the 2 big roller coasters, and rode them right away, so we could do other things the rest of the afternoon other than waiting in line. I really like roller coasters. I don't like rides that make you sick though.

I got my GED results yesterday. I did fine. I got a 3170. Average score of exiting High-School Seniors is 2500.

The Chiefs are in the Playoffs! That was one of the biggest Christmas presents of all...and, whats more...they probably can beat the Colts. Because the Colts give up big yards to no-name running backs, how much more will they give up to L.J.? I'm guessing 35 carries for 197 yards. I still like the Colts, but when its Colts vs Chiefs, that's hometown pride right there...

I went to St. Louis the other day to visit my Surgeon. My blood tests were fine, and I won't have to go back for a year. Praise the Lord!

I leave Sunday night for OKC.

That's all that is on the agenda right now.

You know how they have that box that some people use, that tells info like "currently watching" or "currently listening"? Well they don't seem to have a "currently eating" option. So I'll just tell you that. And yes, I am currently, at this moment, eating, Blue Bell Coffee Ice Cream. If you haven't had it, get off your computer and get on your moped and head to the nearest Blue Bell peddling establishment and get some. It is basically to die for. But since it only is about 4 bux for a half gallon, I didn't have to die to get it.

Another thing xanga doesn't offer is a "current # of presents under tree" ticker. You can get a # of hits counter, but I haven't seen one to keep track of presents. Maybe I should look into a live web cam view of the underneathness of our Christmas Tree. We have 800 lights on it this year.

Tomorrow, is my brother Stephen's B-day. Today, he is kicking me off the computer. So, I have to go, because I told him if he made me a hot dog, I'd let him on in 10 minutes. Too bad my computer doesn't have internet. But, I've got the ball rolling in our fam to get satellite internet, and get a wireless router, so our house will be loaded...after I leave.

Merry Christmas. Merry New Year.

God Bless your Christmas, however you spend it. No opening presents till after 8 a.m. please. I use to get up at 5 when I was younger, but have since learned the value of sleeping in. The goods will still be there 2 hours later, unless the grinch came or something.

We're having Ham and Shrimp on Christmas, like the good Gentiles we are.

It's that time of year again. And no, I'm not talking about Christmas...time to post!

I won't post meaningless stuff like: I need to change my color scheme on my site and all that. Which I do, but...oh well...I guess I'm too lazy.

I'm taking my GED tomorrow, which by the time most of you people read this, minus those of you who live on xanga, will be today. I'm not going to "graduate" right after I take my GED and say I'm done. I'm going to graduate in May, even though I probably won't be doing school in the mean time.

But, I have no worries about it. I could be studying right now. But here I am.

I've been working putting up guttering on houses. Learning a lot, but I don't think construction, or building stuff is my cup of latte. (don't drink tea too much)

In other news, I have all my Christmas shopping done...but I didn't have a whole lot to begin with.
My oldest brother Sean finished his college studies yesterday, and he'll walk the aisle in May. Congrats to him!
They are talking about V. Young for the Pro Bowl.
I'm returning to Oklahoma City the 7th of January.
We are taking a family trip after Christmas. Just for a few days.
I'm almost done with this post.
Our Bible Club went well yesterday. I got to counsel some kids.
Our home school ice skating party was yesterday. Stephen and I punished the kids who fell down by spraying them with a nice power slide. (hockey stop) Of course I didn't ice the little kids, just the medium to big kids. :) You should try it sometime. Getting a good spray of ice is such an art.

Thats it. I'm going to change my background color.

Merry almost Christmas!

Hey!

"I'm afraid I have some bad news boys..."

I've been saying that all day, ever since I found out I was the one who fried our satellite school receiver. Bad times. Of course I didn't do it on purpose. I just unplugged a coax cable on the roof, and "grounded out" our receiver. :(

So, I've been saying that classic line all day.

I went to my doctor yesterday. That went well. Had to sit there for 30 minutes before he came to the room, but that was okay.

We have at least an inch of ice, and it is snowing right now. Yesterday, it was like 65 degrees, sunny, and we put up tons and tons of Christmas lights. We got the icicle kind for the front, and the big bulb kind for the rest of the house. I think it looks pretty good.

I think I need a new profile picture. I have a lot more pictures of myself than I used to.

What do you want for Christmas?

What I want is some really comfy slippers, that are huge, furry, and fluffy. I have some okay ones right now, but they look more like Indian moccasins. I want my slippers to send out a vibe that says: don'tevenaskmetodoanythingcuzIhaveonmysuperultramegatotallywickedlycomfortablefootheavenslippers, and I planonspendingtherestofmydaysbeingalazybum.

That's just a translation from the original Greek. Greek is the universal language for "vibes", just for the record.

So, you learned something. :)

God bless, and have a good time shopping for those you love and care about.
